Natural Framing

Framing a photograph doesn't always mean preparing it to hang on a wall. Rather, one can frame within the image itself. This can be done with elements of the focal point, physical barriers within the image, color, or using the fore, middle, and backgrounds. Here is a 3 minute slideshow of examples of framing. I apologize for the graininess. I put it in the highest resolution and it still was fuzzy. I may remake it using a different program.

  3. Your rock images are particularly good examples of framing, Beth. Some of the others push the definition a bit which is okay, and I'm glad you included such a variety. Hope your journey back to the states is uneventful.

  5. Hey very nice pictures. Really like how you used the arcs by the water. Cool how the colors of the water made the background so simple, while the framing made it such a detailed picture.

  6. Very unique. You capture this assignment nicely. I like the idea with something in the cup...neat. and of course the child on the front is cool - nice set up with the organization of your slideshow and music to boot!
